I bought this Walking Dead game on a whim because my daughter and I love The Walking Dead and I thought it would make a great gift. Finally we played. To be honest we ended up making our own rules because rules take forever to learn and we have to constantly look back on them. It's literally a whole booklet of rules, so I was very disappointed. I understand she's a bit young for today, but the moment we tried to learn other rules off the game I said let's just make up some rules. Other than that, we liked the game we made. If everyone was grown up or with people who have the patience for all these rules, this game would be good. Ultimately, the game is well made and comes with four scenario maps - Camp, Prison, Farm and Shop. You have chosen where you want to be. You can play Michonne, Rick, Carl or of course Daryl Dixon! There is a notepad to keep track of your score and health. There are ten dice. There are search cards that give you weapons to attack strays or players. Sometimes cards add more zombies to the board. Zombie tokens represent zombies. There are 6 zombies to eliminate. For me this is a good concept. We decided to just pick a character, place zombie tokens, and draw a card to see what happened. We used dice depending on the map to choose our zone and the number of items to kill. All in all we will play again, but in our own way. So we had a lot of fun!
