Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced SEO-Coil Spring Set for Moog 5235 by Paul Tilden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great to raise the rear of a 1966 Pontiac Leman.

I never cared much for the squat inverted slant fit of the mid 60's OEM OEM. These cars appear (or never appear to have been measured) to be about an inch lower at the rear than the front. After installing these springs I got the desired result. If I had to guess, I'd say they offer about 3 inches of lift over the stock springs, so yes, the rear is now about 2 inches higher than the front. Heck I can almost see the top of my rear tires and as a bonus I can now completely fill my fuel tank without spilling it on the ground after it's 3/4 full! Hooray! Future plans to rebuild the front suspension and add new front springs might change the difference in slope somewhat, but I wouldn't think drastically. From 3 to 1/4 the cost, it's awesome. Firm but not harsh handling. No problems with handling or wheel hop. I will add some photos to my review in the future to better show the end result. If you're trying to recreate a 70's-80's hot rod look (without using air shocks, which was never a good idea), this is your ticket. A NOTICE. This order was placed through Revain and not the default seller(s). It took longer to arrive but it was the RIGHT product. Image shown is for the front springs but the correct rear will be obtained.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
