The worst. Drill. JE. Please DO NOT BUY.

These are the worst parts I have ever used. And *I* used Harbor Freight's! A locksmith friend was helping me with a milling machine project and I gave him these bits. The first two were completely dull straight out of the box - they wouldn't have drilled Delrin plastic! The third seemed to work, but we ended up switching to a different brand because it wobbled and wobbled. Since then I've tried a dozen of these, both in a drill press and a hand drill. I drilled through a block of wood covering the tube of a bike frame. In a hand drill they would pierce wood (oak) like I was drilling in concrete and when they hit a steel pipe they just stopped. They sat and circled the pipe until it got so hot the wood started smoking without even getting inside. On a drill press, they went through the wood, then started penetrating the pipe, stopped cutting (because they were blunt) and broke in two. I pulled out a lightly used special tool from Harbor Freight and it went through wood and pipe in both a hand and drill press with little effort. With many of these bits you can just look at the end and see that they are off center or that there are too many straps left. Some of them have burrs on the edges, others have no chips on the cut edges. Terrible, terrible quality. You have just as many chances of making a good hole with a sharp piece of hanger wire as you do with those stinky things. I've been buying and using Beats for 50 years and I don't think I can think of a toy as BAD as these toys. I mean, I know these are cheap, crappy drill bits - you can't get a few pounds of good drill bits for $40, but I expected to be able to use each one at least once or twice. Please do yourself a favor and buy something else. I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy!
