Review on XENA XX15-SS Disc Alarm with πŸ”’ Durable Stainless Steel Construction for Enhanced Security by Juan Axum

Revainrating 4 out of 5

An effective deterrent with some downsides.

Not only does it act like a wheeled "boot" preventing someone from just rolling your bike away, it also has a pretty good alarm that goes off when motion is detected. The only gripe I have is the actual spring-loaded button lock and the time it takes to disarm the device. It may be difficult to lock and unlock the actual device lock in time. It's spring loaded. The alarm clock counts a few beeps before the alarm clock starts ringing shrilly. It's easy to panic when you're fiddling with your key and it's raining or your lock is awkwardly placed on the brake disc and a car next to you is restricting your driving space and your countdown beep alarm makes matters worse . The alarm went off a couple of times while trying to just unlock it. I understand it's supposed to be that way, but then make it easy to lock and unlock a spring-loaded lock, or use a smart device that remotely disarms the lock so a person can disarm it without momentary stress. Second, it's not as loud as I thought it would be. I have both a home alarm and a car alarm and this device is a lot softer than these. My recommendation would be about 5 or 10 decibels louder.
