We just installed these 6 lights last night and they look awesome on craftsman wooden fence panels. You can see they accentuate the in-laid tile and create a nice spotlight effect on darker wood. The pictures don't do it justice because the soft light isn't captured by the night camera. it's a nice amber color temperature that is not too blue or yellow. I'm glad we installed them at night so we could try different placements to see how the fence would look. Initially I tried putting them on the stucco posts but the "ice cube" portion of the light was taller than the concrete capstones. so that didnt real well. We were pleasantly surprised how it looked on the wood. I'd recommend this set for anyone upgrading from one of those motion-sensor lights with 100 visible LEDs. You're far better off with 6 of these subtly lighting a pathway than one giant floodlight that looks cheap. These were a major vibe upgrade.
