Description of KAIWEETS Dual Range AC Voltage Tester/Non-Contact Wire Breakpoint Finder - Live/Null Wire Electrical Tester with LCD Display (Orange)

SAFETY FIRST: It will send out multiple alarms through sound and light. When the voltage is detected, the tip will send out red light and beep. When the higher the sensed voltage is, or the closer it is to the voltage source, it beeps at a higher frequency. At the same time, the screen will be red or green, red means high voltage and live wire are detected, green means low voltage and null wire are detected. NON-CONTACT: With NCV inductive probe for AC voltage; Just place the tip near a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord. When the tip glows red and the pen beeps, you know there's voltage present. The live wire detector can automatically detect the live or neutral wire. Ideal for breakpoint Test. Handy circuit tester for electricians, homeowners. DUAL RANGE: Detects standard and low voltage (12-1000V AC / 48-1000V AC) for more sensitive and flexible measurements. Press the S button to adjust sensitivity and adapt low range for doorbells, thermostats, irrigation wiring etc.; The NCV sensor automatically recognizes the voltage and displays it on the bar graph. SECURITY LEVEL: IEC rated CAT III 1000V CAT IV 600V, Meets CE requirements; The electrical tester is safely double insulated. High Voltage Alert to warn you of voltage above 90V, the screen turn red and the safety symbol on the screen shines. COMPACT DESIGN: Bright LED flashlight for work in dim ares; Low-Power-Indicator when battery voltage is below 2.5V; Automatic Power Off after 3 minutes without operation or signal detection; Pocket-sized, pen hook allows you to carry it in your shirt pocket. We provide 36-Month after sale service, Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns.

Works great!: Voltage tester

I did some electrical work at home. I hesitated a bit because I don't want to electrocute myself. Every video I watched confirmed the safety of the wires with a voltage tester. I went to Revain to find this little guy that was under $20. It works great. It even had AAA batteries built in. Turn it on and you can adjust the sensitivity, which worked great. I was even able to trace the lines on the wall to see how they went. I pointed to a transformer near my house and it started beeping "high…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

  • Defects

My favorite tester Great price, great features, very durable.

This will be my favorite tester until I find something better at this price point. My only complaint is that the beep rate could have been a bit higher. It beeps slower than most other testers. Like every other tester, it beeps when it bumps into something, so the slow rate of the beeps means I have to hold it down a bit longer to make sure it's releasing tension and not just beeping when I touch something. So I give it a 4/5 for accuracy. It's very accurate, but not as quick or intuitive to…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

Works wonders! and also very durable.

I am a qualified electrician. I've used this on everything from 480V (death is almost guaranteed if someone is electrocuted) to 12V AC systems. It works wonders! It's much more sensitive than my colleagues' inductive testers and seems to be more durable than many others. The only thing that broke after a year of use was the pocket clip which I used on my tool bag and not my regular bag. Thanks to the horn, I can often lean it against a wire, walk down the hall to the switch panel, and turn off…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Device OK with reservations

The manual that came with the device gets zero stars. Mostly unclear. Better use the product description posted on Revain as it is written in clear English with helpful pictures. "Voltage check" as described on the Revain website doesn't work for me. You can see in the picture that when I insert the tip of the tester into the "live" side of the connector, the background of the LCD screen turns red. This hasn't happened with any of the outlets in my house. However, when I remove the outlet cover

Good for detecting low and high voltage

This review is for the KAIWEETS HT100. I paid €13.99 for it. Overall a very good device. I have a detector with a higher end voltage, but it measures an initial voltage of 90 volts. So for low voltage applications this will not work. I like this device for its dual voltage sensitivity. For my low voltage/high sensitivity needs I found unshielded Christmas light bulbs. In high sensitivity mode, this detector worked very well. I also used it when replacing a socket in low sensitivity mode. Worked

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some little things

Good simple voltage tester

I had several non-contact voltage testers in the form of a pen. I use them primarily to make sure I don't have a live wire when breaking into an outlet or electrical box, or touching the end of a cord that someone else says is off by a switch. This is mainly to make sure I don't grab a live wire before I get electrocuted. They are all generally lightweight and tend to break fairly easily when hit in a tool bag. So I don't go for the most expensive ones or the ones that have more features than I

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Suitable
