I think these replacements are a little higher quality than the cheaper scratching boards you can find, other cheaper ones tend to wear out a lot quicker than these. My cats love the sunbeds. This is their "safe place". I have a cat who just likes to be petted in bed. Every time I try to pet her while she is just lying on the floor, she meows annoyed and goes to the sun lounger where she can be petted. I hate paying that much for cardboard but I haven't found anything else that would be suitable for a sun lounger. One thing I noticed is that I have a "classic" scratching lounge and when they arrived it said "scratching lounge XL" but they fit in perfectly. I just said "oh no" when I opened the package.
