I really like this rug pad! I was worried from the other reviews about it not being the correct thickness and it didn't look like half an inch, but I measured it and it is definitely 1/2". Even if it fell short a little I wouldn't have cared because it makes my feet sink right into my rug! I've had it for a few days now and it hasn't slipped even though the description clearly states that it is NOT a non slip pad. I'd like to add that I am also very picky and this is the third pad I've tried and I researched for weeks for the best, and I finally found it. Now I'm not worried one bit about my 15month old beginning walker falling over either. Its also wonderful to be able to be so comfortable on the floor too, now im always down on the floor playing instead of playing With my son from the couch. So don't be discouraged by the other reviews, you won't be disappointed one bit! This is an awesome cushy pad and we love it!
