Review on πŸ”₯ In-Line Fluid Thermostat - Derale 13021, -6AN x -6AN by Sam Lund

Simple and effective

I made this fitment in the transmission oil line on a large Hayden plate and plate cooler with fan. The fan switches to a relay via this thermostat. I have an MSD device that reads all available sensor data and Trans temp is one of my options. The thermostat should work at 180 degrees but actually it works at around 183-185. This is certainly due to the fact that the sensor and thermostat are in different places in the transmission oil, hence the different readings. This is a simple install and works as advertised.

Pros
  • Shutdown temperature preset to 165 degrees Fahrenheit
Cons
  • Functionality
