I take medication that makes falls a reality 12 days a month - and believe me I smack myself on the back of the head at least 2 times a month if not more often . The consequences are severe pain, goosebumps the size of goose eggs and trips to the emergency room. This helmet is light and easy to use - I gave it 4 stars for comfort because after half an hour it gets a little warm on the head. Today I had a terrible fall and hit my head again - this time I was wearing a helmet AND NO INJURIES. My husband was amazed that I didn't feel any pain or discomfort from the impact - I usually lay down and cried for 5 minutes before I could move - this time I got up straight away with NO INJURY AT ALL.
