My family used this helmet for my 5 year old son when he was playing outside. he has epilepsy. This still allows him to go outside and play, but protects his head if he has a seizure. He loves his helmet, he can easily put it on and take it off by himself.

My husband was in a car accident and suffered a head injury which caused him mobility problems and frequent falls. This helmet, as it's also used in sports, made him less self-conscious about wearing it, and it does a good job of protecting his head from further injury.

A Not My wife has HD and as she is not disabled and unable to assess her abilities, she must wear a headgear when unaccompanied. This means almost continuous wear. It took no more than a few days for the ulcer to appear in the photo.

I ordered a medium size based on the size chart. It was impossible to wear because it was too small. Then I switched to a large one, which was also unbearable because it was too tight. The problem is that the sides of these helmets are very flat and straight and there is no room for my ears in them. If you want to buy them, don't measure by the instructions, measure around the ears!

This was purchased for an elderly person for temporary protection from head injuries until we can order a suitable medical helmet. It's not really enough to protect an adult from head injury in a standing fall, but it serves that purpose temporarily, especially during sleep. When we are awake we use a bicycle helmet until we can get medical helmets specifically designed for this purpose.

The price was great. The materials from which this helmet is made are cheap. The padding is very hard, it's just fabric inside which makes my son sweat like crazy so he has to take it off, the velcro is too big for a small child and the vents on top are poorly tailored and ensure a good fit. so that there is no ventilation. Instead, spend your money on a quality helmet. You get what you pay for. I do not recommend this product

I bought 3 of these for my husband who uses them for jiu-jitsu. We used to buy him earplugs to keep his ears from swelling, but other students complained that the earplugs hurt when they went ice-skating with my husband. Not only does this padded helmet protect my husband's ears, but the other students don't complain about it because it doesn't hurt them. And indeed, they are also considering buying this helmet. The price is really good for that too.

I take medication that makes falls a reality 12 days a month - and believe me I smack myself on the back of the head at least 2 times a month if not more often .
