I took to replace the linksys WRT160NL - a single-band 2.4 GHz, which worked for 10 years. In the end, they were completely exhausted - they cut the speed to 2Mbps and hung constantly - I had to reboot 5 times. After him, Mikrotik, of course, is just space.
- Easy to set up - enough preset settings for stable operation. It is only necessary, of course, to set passwords. At 5GHz on Apple devices, the speed almost does not cut - with incoming 30 Mbps it gives out 26-28 Mbps. At 2.4 GHz in a laptop it cuts somewhere in half. Compact and nice design. Haven't rebooted in 6 months
- Weak transmitter. The router is in the corridor, and in the kitchen around the corner of the concrete network, the signal is already unstable and the Internet periodically disappears. There is no separate power off button (On linksys, for example, there is a switch on the cord)
