Does what the seller says. I checked the feed height and it pumped a continuous flow up to 5.5 feet. I use it on a 33 inch tall open fountain and run it on the lowest settings. For the customer who had problems (1 star), I suggest you leave it and download for a few minutes to achieve a continuous stream. I set it to maximum flow the first time I used it. The flow control turns counterclockwise for maximum flow, which is the opposite of most valves here in the US. I couldn't open it to clean it, so the seller needs to clearly describe this process.
