You can ditch the converter and just use batteries; a 4-pack is small enough to have in your bag at all times. Good acoustics without any dirt or debris in the sound. The tuner has come in handy on numerous occasions; it allows for speedy rebuilding while the preceding band is still playing and convenient tuning adjustments during intermissions. It doesn't sound at all like an electronic simulation. Certainly not a workplace, but suitable for recording and appreciating one's own music. My rating: five stars.
