Precision dual lead screws are ideal for the more precise Z axis in RepRap style 3D printers.
These are hard to find and often overlooked by designers of RepRap-style 3D printers. 2mm lead 2mm beginning. It seems that most homemade and cheap Prusa i3 derivatives use the more common 4-start leadscrews, sacrificing more Z-axis accuracy for some reason I don't understand. If you buy lead screws yourself, then these are the ones you need.
