To clarify I'm not a techie and have no idea what the difference between routers is. Brilliant! Why spend $14/month to rent equipment from Xfinity when it pays for itself in 3 months? The only downside I would like to mention is with refurbished items. At first I couldn't figure out why the router wasn't listed as WiFi available. device until I discovered it was actually there. just under a different name than listed in the docs (link to TP, whatever) and that's because they forgot to reset the device name when doing the repair. So if you're having trouble connecting to wifi, you can double check your router name :)
