The ability for me as my physical therapist, Dr. Lantz, was able work from home with clients without being in his office; this allowed him more time per patient helping them get better! I did not like how easy it would be to lose or misplace notes if they were stored digitally versus hard copy paper records we used before using digital. It took longer than normal to complete forms when submitting via secure website (CCHIT). We had less missed appointments because our patients knew their doctor's schedule instead of calling/texting us asking about availability. Our team worked together seamlessly so there wasn't much room for error at all throughout each session. I am very happy working collaboratively between multiple providers while also allowing myself flexibility by staying productive remotely. This benefits everyone involved.
