Reasonable workmanship for the price considering you get two. Don't rush into measurements. Took me about an hour from start to finish. It is easier to install the block on 1x5x48, and then attach it to the plasterboard ceiling. If you have an open beam, attach directly to the beam and save 30 minutes. The weak point is that the powered pulley obviously can't keep up with the main pulley (so the seat might not go up with the handlebars) so you have to pull two ropes to keep it turning even when lifting. If you have a second person, you can ask someone to guide them while you relieve pressure and keep them balanced. Otherwise, it gets a lot harder when you have a ceiling over 8 feet. Also, wear gloves when lifting and lowering to avoid burns from the rope. DO NOT CUT THE ROPE until you have completely finished the installation, until the bike is on the ground with the hooks in place and you still have enough rope to wrap the spike onto the spike. If you cut the rope while the bike is in the air, you won't have enough rope when you park it! Sometimes you have to laugh at yourself!
