It's as big as they say and I'm not sure where I'll put it but I'll make room for sure! My favorite kitchen helper after the pineapple knife. He literally cut the melon and gave me beautiful slices in just a few seconds. I've found it takes quite a bit of muscle and strength if you're going straight down, but I've found it's a lot easier to rock it side-to-side slightly when I'm pushing down. I recommend it to anyone who eats melons and now I want to try slicing apples too. Seems to be durable although I only received it today and it was my first use. If it breaks I will come back and update my review. But now I would say 10/10
