Ordered these needles to replace a Clover Takumi size 3 I bought 10 years ago - the tips are just beginning to close after 10 years of continuous use break, so it's time for a replacement. I'm so disappointed in the new ones. They are NOT the same as pictured. They have a pointed tip (very sharp) instead of a blunt one. I only ordered them for the blunt end as I work with sock yarn not lace yarn and the lace end separates the sock yarn. They are also much shorter than my other 16" circular needles. I think they must be fake, they seem to be significantly cheaper than the originals. I only buy from a local yarn store,
