Review on 📔 Rhodia Webnotebook Orange 5 1/2 X 8 1/4: The Ultimate Writing Companion by Barbara Simmons

As an avid Moleskine fan, I can't believe I could love any other product more. I finally found this product, Rhodia Webnotebook, also known as "Webbie". I've used Rhodia notebooks in the past and I really like the paper, although it's not exactly the same paper as Rhodia notebooks it's still fantastic (90g matte velum, ivory paper) and writes very similarly, beautifully and smooth. I started writing with fountain pens last year and my only complaint with using a Moleskine product is that every fountain pen and ink combo I've tried shows through. Rhodia doesn't seem to have this problem, so I write on both sides of the page and can fit many more entries into the notebook. The lines are slightly wider than a similar style Moleskine, this product has 27 lines and the Moleskine fits 35 per side. Both notebooks have 96 sheets or 192 pages, inside back pocket, elastic closure and ribbon marker. I love the faux leather cover, it's firm but soft to the touch and it's my favorite color (they make it in black too). Although I will always have many different Moleskins (especially the large Volant notebook in the range) this is my new take on this style of notebook. If you're looking for a new laptop I highly recommend trying this one out, you won't be disappointed. A few final remarks. For those unfamiliar with the Clairefontaine company (reputed to be the best newspaper in the world) but unfamiliar with Rhodia, it turns out they belong to the same company. Rhodia paper is manufactured by Clairefontaine. If you already had this notebook and didn't like the logo on every page, the feature was recently removed. The company said its customers thought it was a waste of space (which it was) and recommended removing it, and they removed it.
