so this tape measure is absolutely the perfect size and I love that it measures a full 10 feet! It's the absolutely perfect band for shirt front pockets and back pockets to keep you in place. Issues I'd really like to fix, or if another 10ft tape of this size/shape came out I'd pay 10x the price for one that lasts: the hook sticks out too much when the tape is coiled , but it's too small/short to actually be useful as a hook. . A tiny hook that sticks out too far can bend in the back pocket and fall off, pulling the band all the way down. Key fob/cord internal magnetometric equivalents only hold 1/8 inch! 1/32 just makes the tape look silly and anyone trying to measure it accurately with that tape is daydreaming/on crack. I also want it to be round or octagonal. 10" measurement because it is also my preferred board length for furniture making and it also works great with 8" measurements for DIY. If I'm dealing with 12 or more, I rip out the stronger band with no problem. that it does not contain a clip. Even if they can be removed, I had issues with the screw hole collecting sand/letting dirt in. It's actually a love-hate relationship, but it's the best bag I've found for a bag. I have ADHD and ASD, so overly bulky/distracting things don't work for me. p me it works.
