Review on 🌶️ Metal Norpro Pepper Grinder by Carl Durant

My wife and I received a pepper grinder that looks exactly like this one for our wedding 38 years ago and it was a great grinder. I bought this one thinking it would be the same and we needed a backup. It is not. For 38 years they managed to build a grinder similar to our old one and not a damn thing to grind pepper. You have a choice of chopping half a pepper or chopping it so fine you can't see it. I took it apart and didn't see any difference between the two grinders, but the difference is really big. The old one regulates smoothly between coarse and fine, and you don't have to turn the knob forever to get as much pepper as you want. A new one costs next to nothing. I wouldn't buy one like that again. I just hope the old one lasts another 38 years.
