Great DIY Nail Tire Plug Repair Kit

After a tire has been 'fixed' in Good Years it will slowly leak requiring weekly air fills then eventually changing the tire there and lastly after attempting to sign up for a " "free" tire service, only to come up with the all-day online scheduler at the end of the day, I decided to do everything myself. I originally ordered the $8 Slime kit but saw the top reviews for the Safety Seal on Revain and then bought the kit. I saw an online product video on the Safety Seal website explaining that the magic of their product is mostly due to their fork and it was compelling so I decided not to use the slime kit, but to buy the Safety Seal and try it out. The product is excellent. There was a roofing nail that I took out and then used a reamer. At first I just carefully expanded, but the plug didn't go in. Then I tried again to insert the reamer and twist vigorously as I saw in the video on You Tube. The needle and plug were then firmly inserted under the weight of the body. The leak stopped immediately and the soapy water confirmed it. I put it on my car and drove 15 miles at 60-75 mph, checked the seals with soapy water and it's still holding, no bubbles. This is a great product for DIY enthusiasts. Update, 1 month later: The brown fork has turned black when viewed from the outside. Holds air very well. The stub is still visible on the bus, so I can redo the stub if needed, but it's not necessary. I placed the remaining 29 plugs in a ziploc bag for future use. This kit was definitely worth the money for peace of mind, easy repair and quality that will last. Update 6 months later. The original fork is still fine. Another tire on another car was losing pressure and it was a bolt between the threads. I took the tire off, patched it, everything worked, it was all over in an hour. Good product. Update 1.5 years later. All clogged tires hold air like new ones. Since then two more flat, one from the bracket on the tread and the other hole on the sidewall. I read the sidewall warnings but tried it anyway and it worked! It was actually easier to plug in there, required less effort, and the soapy water and freeway driving confirmed a good seal. I was wanting to try a mushroom stopper, but an online search convinced me that a silicone stopper and a solid round shape probably wouldn't work as well as a rope or rope stopper, which can take a puncture shape and is self-vulcanizing. This product has saved me almost $1000 in less than 2 years and I expect it will continue to serve me well. Update, 2 years later. Just changed a tire after 110,000 miles and 8.5 years and patched FIVE side punctures and cracks. It was a Goodyear tire and probably priced at 50k so it was time to replace it. It was a pleasant surprise that all FIVE Safety Seal side plugs held up with no leaks. This has saved me thousands of dollars and dozens of hours visiting tire and auto repair shops. All of my other plugs were on the treads and not the sidewalls, so I think this tire probably had a manufacturer fault/weakness. The tread plugs are holding up great, the TPM doesn't work and I don't have any noticeable leaks compared to unplugged tires. The security seal kit is doing a good job and I expect it will continue to do so.
