Stupid indicator: Voltage tester

Completely stupid indicator and disgusting packaging. The indicator is supplied unsealed and with batteries inserted, of course not from the factory! not like the photo, which raises suspicions of originality. The inscriptions have been changed, the inscription "Made in Malaysia" has been added, in general this is not at all what I see when I buy it. The indicator itself works very strangely. The instructions and on its case state that it will respond to AC voltage in the 90-1000v range, in fact it will respond to everything including the 5vdc phone charger cable and even if you just lightly wipe the surface of the dry skin of hands. If you expect to use this device to detect hazardous voltages, it generally will not work. It'll react to anything in a row, and without normal devices you won't know if the voltage here is dangerous or if it's just static electricity from your clothing. He reacts the same to everything. At first I thought I had received a defective unit or an after repair unit because it was unsealed and I sent it back to the seller and he resent me the same working unit and in exactly the same packaging as it was a two dollar purchase. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it, it's not worth the money. Now I'm confused, what did I buy, original or fake? Original, then I got disillusioned with Fluk. I have other devices from this company that work very accurately and reliably.
