2007 Buick Lucerne cars have two possible pumps that are not interchangeable. If you could warn future customers that the problem I am having could be fixed by warning them about this problem. This car doesn't require removing the tank to replace the pump and it's easy to see in the trunk by undoing five screws to see the pump. Ours still worked but failed the pressure test so I waited as most cars don't have more than one pump. Probability. I have years of fuel injection experience as a university level automotive instructor and have found that it's usually just California cars that are different from everyone else, and it's not usually any other fuel pump.
