Attractive design and easy installation

This gasket is designed to provide years of sealing. It has extra height so you will need to make some modifications to your garage door closer. Don't close the garage too tight at first. Leave enough room for the gasket to fit snugly without pinching. As a result, the seal remains flexible and can remain tight for many years. Second, you need to adjust the downforce on the closer. Since the seal is much taller than your worn seal, you will likely hit the downforce limit when reversing and the garage door will open on its own after you try to close it. It is in order. Because the new seal is much taller, your door closer will think something is stuck under the door and open fully. This is a security feature. Simply set the lower limit on the opener and you're done. During assembly you can grease the T-shaped edges of the spacer when inserting it into the guide. This makes installation easier. Just be careful not to damage the seal. I ordered a 16 foot pad and have a few inches left.
