Be very careful if you are using this heating pad. I used it on high for two cycles before the auto turn-off, and it left burn marks on my back. I was also wearing two layers of tee shirts between my skin and the thick heating pad cover. It did not feel any hotter than my traditional heating pad that I use all of the time, but I have never been burned before and don’t have particularly sensitive skin. The edges/seems of the pad seem to get hotter than the rest of it.For what it’s worth, I did get relief from using it on muscle spasms in my lower back, but no more than a regular heating pad. The cover encasing the pad is very plush and soft and is removable for easy washing.
