I trimmed a 40 foot Chinese Elm with a scissor lift and cut off most of the dead branches. First, I used a regular wood cutting blade, which did a good job of cutting off dead branches about 4 inches thick. Dead limbs are much more difficult to cut than live ones. So I ordered your delimbing knives hoping they would cut dead branches better. Not much difference in cutting speed on dead branches, but much better on live branches. The first blade dulled after a few hours of use - it looked like a "rake" of teeth flattened, but the second blade is still stronger after two days.
