Do not buy - waste of money

Heed my warning and other warnings about these blades - YOU HUNG! Used when cutting a 3 inch limb! The blade burned out and dulled after the 5 minutes it took to cut a 3 inch branch. They look good and look sharp, but they aren't. The best you get is the plastic case they come in, which can be used to hold another brand's blades.

Heavy cut here at Saber Saw Blades

These blades are designed for large and heavy cuts. As for pruning your fruit trees, I would stay away from these blades. They are more used for chopping wood and making firewood from the wood to be felled. If you have small branches that need pruning, forget it. IMHO, it's for big things. I would like to buy a thinner blade for CUTTING than specified.

Good blades in quantity and price

These are good blades in quantity and price. If you've used premium blades before, you'll be a bit disappointed. If this is your first rodeo or you work in an area where you can break a blade, this is a good choice. If I work in an area prone to blade breakage I will definitely buy again. I will make another purchase and use them in such situations.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Great blade and cut

I have a cut and I have to say it is the smartest, well written tutorial of its kind that I have ever come across. This is from a 71 year old male with many years of experience. It would be very helpful for any beginner to read it carefully and pay close attention to it. (Of course, this is unlikely unless the newcomer is a woman [I'm not a woman, I don't think there's anything wrong with that!]). Blades are excellent, same as Diablos.

Trimming Dead Branches: Power and Hand Tools

I trimmed a 40 foot Chinese Elm with a scissor lift and cut off most of the dead branches. First, I used a regular wood cutting blade, which did a good job of cutting off dead branches about 4 inches thick. Dead limbs are much more difficult to cut than live ones. So I ordered your delimbing knives hoping they would cut dead branches better. Not much difference in cutting speed on dead branches, but much better on live branches. The first blade dulled after a few hours of use - it looked like a

Very decent and durable for its price

It's hard to say who has the sharpest and most durable blades. There doesn't seem to be an ISO standard. However, they work just as well as my more expensive DeWalt blades. I did quite a bit of pruning 1-3" on a few trees before moving on to a new blade. Cut off a few branches of white thorn locust which are almost as dense as ironwood. Think steelwood and blade smoke. BENEFITS: Reasonable price around $3 Strong enough Long enough for small branches and such but not too long to keep bending…

Strong and Durable Best Saw Blades Parts & Accessories

My husband ordered these for me after a year of struggling with the previous saw blades we had purchased. Loved the clue sheet that came with it = but sadly learned it all last year! Good advice. When I decided to discipline my horribly overgrown cedar hedge, it very roughly invaded two neighbors' yards about 15 feet (we live in the North West) with my new blades I thought wow! 5 blades, that's enough for the whole fall! But to my surprise, I cut off about 200 pounds of limbs in a few hours and

I will say that the case is excellent. Finally I can blade in a .

First of all I want to say that the cover is excellent. Finally I can store my blades in a practical and durable case. That said, it's not like you rip/cut and then get stuck with 5 blades or 1 or 2 and then lose the rest. This scabbard consists of 2 parts that fit together and hold the blades inside. Easy to disassemble but strong and durable. My weekend project that required delimbing knives: - Felling overgrown shrubs and hedges - Trimming old branches from maple and cherry trees - Planting…
