Review on 🪡 Addi Steel Crochet Hook - 5 inch (13cm) US Size 16 (0.60mm) by Gelin Battle

This hook really exceeded my expectations. I was surprised to see that the packaging said it was made in Germany. It appears to be of excellent quality - the hook is round and smooth despite being so small. This is extremely important with a small crochet hook to avoid snagging. I used a #14 hook to add #8 Miyuki beads to a very fine knitting project. Some of the beads didn't fit so I ordered a size down. I would recommend a size 16 crochet hook for these beads, which seem to be the most commonly used bead size for knitting. I also use this crochet hook to mend fine knit sweaters and it works surprisingly well. I'm glad I lost my old hook and had to find a new one! The millimeter size is accurate, but I'm not sure if it corresponds to the US crochet hook size. Check the diameter of your bead hole before choosing a size if you are unsure.
