Wow! Thing is sticky! As a first time user, it was a mass formation. The previous owner of my car sealed the sunroof. But the filling was old enough, it leaked anyway. And since it was sealed I couldn't get to the drain holes to clean them. No pro would touch it with a 10ft pole, so I had to resort to the most drastic means. To seal it like this. Even though I measured everything 3-4 times, there were still a few surprises when trying to put it on. But even if I cut out some of them on the fly and even overlap them a bit when I specifically didn't want to, it looks amazing, to everyone's surprise. Piece down, it never rises again. 2. There is a small amount of glue on the outside of the tape. If this gets on your car the adhesive will stay for life so be careful. 3. Tuck excess glue under the tape as much as possible, otherwise it will be visible forever. In some places that were visible I used the edge of a steel ruler to do this. 4. The band is stretched. This can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you use it. Knowing beforehand would have helped. 5. Wrinkles on the tape cannot be smoothed out or "rolled out". So avoid using these items at all costs. Even if it means buying an extra roll. Believe me. It's worth it. 6. Use nail polish remover to remove the glue from the scissors and/or knife. 7. Since this is forever, choose something to circle around the rounded corners so you can cut straight. This looks much better and is worth the extra effort. 8. It was used in a trailer in "Land of the High Deserts" where it gets MUCH hotter and MUCH colder than here, and that was 20 years ago. Everything is fine there. So the promise of UV protection and heat/cold resistance as they claim is no joke. Hope this all helps. By the way, girls. I'm a girl and made it all on my own with an audience of men who just stood around and watched for fun. So put on a shitty t-shirt, put on some funny music, and show 'em we're not completely helpless. You can do that!
