I had an old grapefruit spoon set and the handles broke off. Decided to get more. Growing up in Phoenix, I ate a lot of grapefruit, and serrated spoons made it easy for me. We also used a similar knife. I liked the fact that it was a full set of serrated spoons and knives. Very strong spoons with no handles that wear out like my old set. I love her. Sturdy and just what I wanted and needed now that I'm living in the Southwest again.
