I have 3 such devices that were bought 15-20 years ago. They are thicker and hold up surprisingly well. I needed some new wardrobe sets for baby things. Judging by the reviews I was expecting a very light product but I bought it anyway thinking if it didn't work I would use it for something else. Today I collected with the help of children. Took 20 minutes. I think people get it wrong when they complain that it doesn't hold up well or can't be moved after assembly. It was incredibly strong and moved easily once fully assembled. It was so nice to hear the click as I put all the pieces together. I have not used zip ties (and never have in the past). My only disappointment was that I bought it for $30 and now the price has gone up so I'm kicking myself for not buying more at the same time. Good product. Will hold up well. You need to hear three clicks to know you've placed it in the right place. Once you have done this, it will be very difficult for you to break up. Much luck!
