Review on π USR-TCP232-410s: RS232/RS485 Serial to Ethernet Adapter/IP Device Server with DHCP/DNS Support by Briceston Criss
Does not work with MAVlink protocol
Attempted to pair this with an RFD900 radio for use with a UAV ground control station. GCS complains about unknown packages. Both Mission Planner and MAVproxy never receive a heartbeat to initiate communication. The web interface sucks and has limited functionality. For the price, you're better off just getting a Raspberry PI and running your own. Or you can spend your Saturday afternoon trying to get it to work.
- Server with two serial ports: CPU: Cortex-M4 120MHz, serial RS485 and RS232 to Ethernet server, 2 serial ports: 1 port - RS232, 1 port - RS485, 1 Ethernet RJ45 port. Support RS232 and RS485 working at the same time.
