My kids wanted to be able to play my old vinyl albums and this little portable turntable was just what they needed. It's solidly built (doesn't feel cheap or flimsy), runs in 3 speeds (33/45/78), and even has a built-in 45 adapter with a large center bore. The sound quality is good for what it is. Don't expect stereo quality and you won't be disappointed. The controls are easy to use, and the case folds up into a nice compact case for travel or just to keep dust out of the internal mechanisms. We bought the black one with two brown stripes which really makes it look like a retro mini suitcase. Kids love it and it's a great value (less than $50).
