If you have an E9X Series BMW I'm not sure what or why you would ever consider buying anything else. This is by far the most complete and also the most reliable filter I have ever bought. It does what it's supposed to and I'm still using it after dozens of oil changes. More than once, even if only once with the latest BMW, I miscalculated my inventory and had to reach for the filter on the spot. . They were usually more expensive, poorly designed and one day the filter broke when I did my next oil change. I don't follow BMW's 15,000 service recommendations, change the filter and oil every 5,000, so I can only imagine what a user with a full service interval must experience with a different brand of filter.
