Review on Akebono Performance ASP1001 Premium Ceramic by Tyler Born

Best ceramic/general pads I've ever used on a street car. Have tried others like Green Stuff, Hawk HPS+ etc, they are simply better. Great cold bite, even better when warmed up, low dust levels and at least in my car no noise either. Those having noise should clean the calipers well when installing new pads and apply lube to the back of the pads - note that my rotors are slotted which might also help a little, I haven't tried non-slotted rotors. Those who stand little chance of biting when you have air in the line - bleeding the lines is an ordeal, but if there's still air in the line your brakes will soften and won't bite.
