Review on πŸ”§ BLACK+DECKER Screwdriver with Push and Pick Feature, 7-bit Set for Versatile Use (BDHT68003) by Paulo Heisler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handy, simple, easy to use

I have many screwdrivers in my tool box, many of them use bits to change heads for different purposes. The problem with most of these screwdrivers is that the bit is short and the bit socket is large enough that it prevents me from using the screwdriver in many applications. This screwdriver differs from the others in that the bit protrudes about 2 3/4 inches from the socket and is narrow enough to fit into tight spaces. This is not a ratchet screwdriver, it is simply one that contains 7 different types of bits, making it useful in most common scenarios. Bit storage is in the handle and is also a bit unique to this screwdriver: to change bits, remove the active bit from the shank and slide it all the way into the base that matches the bit you want to use and press it. from a pen. The original bit snaps securely into place and you can insert the new bit into the shaft. The handle of this screwdriver is slightly larger than most, which I consider a positive as I have constant carpal tunnel issues and find it difficult to understand and use screwdrivers with a smaller handle. The handle is also covered with elastic silicone, which makes it easier to grip. I really like this particular screwdriver and will definitely order again and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a screwdriver with such unique features. It's not a fancy tool, but it's a lot cheaper to own than buying separate screwdrivers for each of the styles listed. It does not have a ratcheting function, but is also suitable for places where ratchet screwdrivers do not fit. This is a great addition to a well-stocked toolbox, and a plus for those who only maintain a small number of tools.
