Took an old Briggs and Stratton engine with standard 3/4" NPT exhaust. Got a 3/4" black iron nipple. Threaded it into the motor. This tube fits directly onto the 3/4" nipple threads. The fast hum of a MIG welder. Now when the ground squirrels start digging in the backyard, I stick this exhaust pipe in this hole and throw some dirt on it. Start the engine and leave the throttle all the way down and it still runs smoothly. After a few tries, I must have finally made it to the hiding place. They stopped digging in my yard and my neighbor's yard. Outperform all store-bought gopher control measures.
