Fantastic price for a solid, super smooth half inch bit. Being a 1/2" rod there is almost no play or chatter. Make sure you have a router that accepts 1/2 inch. All routers that accept 1/2" come with half and quarter collets. Bits can only take a quarter inch, obviously that won't work with this bit. I was surprised at how much material it removed so easily, I'm really not that far from the helix bit.I've used it for edging although I suspect it's not that good for plunge milling.You're best off upgrading to a twist drill bit for that.
