About four inches tall, with groves (helps with gripping) on the inside near both end of the tongs. Decided to try these because I got tired of burning my fingers fishing mini crescent and sweet potato rolls from toaster. They work great and are exactly as described. Perfect height to use under kitchen cabinets. Couldn't be more please with my purchase.
