Review on πŸ”‘ Compatible Key Fob with 3 Buttons for Honda Vehicles (Vehicle List B, Simple Key, and Remote Programmer) by Cashout Harden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very simple and works

I bought this as soon as I found out my 2009 Honda Fit came with a keyless module installed. The dealer option for keyless entry was that the dealer simply had to cut out the key and program it into the car. At the time, I declined that option as I installed aftermarket security systems and keyless entry in cars that didn't have them from the factory. I still have the universal keyless entry system and just installed it on the Fit. Fast forward, many years later, my remotes (there were 2 in the kit) broke down. The first case broke after about 5 years of daily use, I switched to the second and this case also cracked. I was about to go back to the dealer and pay for keyless entry when I found on the Fit forums that the keyless module was already installed in the car. I bought it and took the wrench to cut it at my local Ace Hardware. Business. Following the instructions, the new key was programmed and locking/unlocking worked in less than 3 minutes. So glad I found this as the key was supposed to cost 100 and the fee to cut and program into the machine was another 150. It worked great.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
