Lightweight, warm and comfortable to blow dry

I bought this for my family's house which gets quite cold in winter. Mind you, we're in Southern California, but our family's home is full of large arched windows. As this was my first time working with any type of home insulation sheeting, I had to do a lot of research on how it works, how to install it and what brand would work best for me, and somehow I settled on Duck Brand as the best value for money. The 3M brand costs almost twice as much! EASY INSTALLATION I'm sure it's the same for all window insulation kits as they all have the same installation, but IT'S SUPER EASY! Don't be put off by the lack of information and procedures on how to do this. It's really just a measurement, a cut, a tape, a hair dryer. step by step1. Clean the mounting surface from dust with a microfiber cloth2. Use rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth to remove residue from the surface and allow to dry3. Stick around your window4. Measurement window5. Cut the film to size 6. Glue the film to the window7. Thermal film with hair dryer/heat gun IT WORKS! So far I can really feel the difference and I've only applied it to a few windows. Living in California I didn't want to close every window as we have hot and cold days in winter so I just made windows that are normally closed year round. I also insulated the entire garage door and it's a lot warmer now. However, I will add foam sheets to the door to make it "comfortably warmer". DO I RECOMMEND IT? Definitive! I'm surprised I didn't think of it beforehand. I plan on leaving this set on certain windows year-round. We have blinds so nobody notices.
