It's great. They make good coasters, but be aware that placing something hot on an uncovered wooden table can damage the finish. They can be used as oven mitts but aren't very flexible and can be slippery on something like a flimsy pot/pan handle. Also pay attention to the small hole when using them for this purpose! Don't stick your thumb in if you're going to grab something hot. I'm shy about the oven so I prefer not to use them as oven mitts, but that's not what I bought them for. I bought them mainly for coasters and CAN OPENING. These textured silicone coasters are best for gripping jar lids and are a lot easier to pop open if you occasionally struggle with them. I always have something like this in my kitchen! I've had them for about a year now and they are holding up very well. They're easy enough to clean if you clean them right away, rather than letting the dirt dry in little crevices that are a little harder to clean. However, you can easily remove what is inside with soap and hot water. I'm pretty sure it's real silicone too, which is great.
