I use my rPi 24/7 with high cpu usage. I've used an actively cooled plastic case with a Pi 3 B+ board in the past, but wanted to do without the fan. The plastic case with active cooling reached an average of 47.8 ยฐC / 118.04 ยฐF. Now on this case: I average 51.5ยฐC/124.7ยฐF - still within the normal range. The outside of the case is warm to the touch but very tolerable at an average of 37.8F/100.2F. Solid construction - this will be my standard case in the future. As mentioned in other reviews, no instructions are included with the device, so you'll need to return to this page to find out which thermal pads to use.
