This is an EXACT replacement part from the manufacturer. Removing the wiper arms and grille cover is a hassle, but not too bad. You have access to a cage blower motor, so take the time to vacuum all the leaves and debris out of this area! The wiper motor and gear will come out as a unit after removing the 3-4 torx screws holding the assembly in place. You will need to disconnect the lever from the wiper motor arm and then REUSE the wiper motor arm (short metal plate with a ball socket on the end). First attach the motor arm and then the new gearbox to the motor arm. Note. You have to use quite a bit of pressure to insert the new plastic cup into the motor arm ball socket. Make sure there is a small amount of lube on the plastic cup. therein (attached). The whole job took about 1 1/2 hours including vacuuming the fan motor. Matching the wiper arms to the new gearbox studs is a little tricky. Make sure the levers are NOT too low on the underside of the windshield. Then tighten the nuts that hold the wiper arms in the down position. Make sure to reconnect the wiring harness to the engine BEFORE REPLACING THE GRILLE COVER! Putting the grill lid back on is the hardest part! Much luck. You can do it.
