These bags are lightweight and almost the perfect size for our 32 gallon Roughneck trash can, although they claim to be 40-45 gallons. I say "almost" because while they wrap the can well around the perimeter without having to tighten like other brands, they're so smooth they tend to slip off when I throw grass clippings at them. Hm. Still, they're the right size for a glass; They tie easily when the jar is full (no strap, just grommets). The bottom is not square but gathered. This makes it easier (I think) to remove them from the can without creating a vacuum seal on the sides of the can like other pouches. Packages must be torn off the roll one by one; but for the price i'm happy with it. The bags are suitable for dirt or leaves, but not for twigs or sharp objects. They tear easily.
