The grill does not fry, it kind of cooks the meat. In reality, they can warm something up, but fry: no. There are only 3 automatic programs: beef, sandwich, chicken. None work properly. Fry pork, chops, breaded fish, vegetables: it is not possible because it will pick up a temperature shock, Causes: At the grill, the heater is not soldered into the plates, the plates themselves are made of aluminum up to 1 mm thick. The heating element lies on the body, but does not touch the plates. The body of the grill heats up first. You put the steak on the plates - they instantly cool down and the meat gives off the juice. Prior to this, for 7 years I have been in hard use of a grill from GF . . I bought for 3 thousands (Now it is sold for 4,700s). This grill is incomparably better than Tefal: This grill has a heating element soldered into removable plates. The plates themselves are 5 mm thick, there are no programs: only two knobs: time and temperature. The grill allows you to make a crispy crust on the bacon. (which Tefal, in principle, is not capable of). I am completely sure: that laudatory reviews are written either by order, or by people who did not have a normal grill.
