Completely useless in a headless server
The included "driver" is a software driver, not a real driver in the usual sense. It is not present when the server boots and is not loaded until the logged-in user runs the program. useless on a headless server. but all this does not matter, since the device copes very poorly with its functions. after over a week of terrible tech support at startech.com. I found that my fax modem never works with this device. ended up buying from a competitor and had much more success! Avoid all startech.com products!
